Playing around with an edgy style of editing to give the impression of toughness.
Backlit with Canon 580 EX 2 flash. Front slightly filled with reflector. Reflection is real and not edited into the image, but I did blend another image with jersey on the subject. Edited with Photoshop CC 2015 HDR and added some texture to the edges.
I am thinking the window would be a good spot for an action image blended in. Hmmm…?

Images lit with two backlights ( Alien Bee and the other just a small slave) to accent hair and muscle tone with one large Alien Bee softbox in front to the right of camera.
